A beautiful sunny day greeted us on Sunday at Sherwood Arboretum.  All the plants were tagged and ready; the seeds from Mr Fothergill’s were packaged with FBBGSA business cards attached – and all of this was completed by some merry volunteers.  A big “Thank you”.

The event started at 2pm and the attendees started to join our marquee asking about plants, seeds and kitchen gardening questions, potential speakers were found in the conversations and almost everything was taken by 4pm.  The well dressed volunteers (FBBGSA tshirts) were exhausted yet happy.  Now for the evaluation based on new members acquired, more hits on our website and more attendees at our events.  Watch this space for more news at the AGM in September.
