As a not-for-profit organisation FBBGSA aim to CONNECT, PROMOTE & PROTECT the Brisbane Botanic Gardens and Sherwood Arboretum.
From time to time FBBGSA’s project needs, big and small, are enhanced by the generous donations by businesses.
FBBGSA is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission (ACNC). Donations have often been in goods and services as we cannot yet provide tax deductibility.
Examples of some of our generous donations have come from:-
Mr Fothergills Seeds for vegie and flower seeds for the community based Sherwood Arboretum 100 yr celebrations.
Bimer Bonsai Club for several large Bonsais for our display for a Plant Expo.
Paxton Hall for legal assistance with compiling our Constitution.
Botanical Artists Qld for help with the HortiCouture events.
As you can see these donations are for various activities and across different organisations.
