We are a community of poets inspired by the flora and fauna of Mt Coot-tha

Botanical Gardens.

Our aims are:

1. To capture the beauty of the Gardens in poetry and share it with visitors.
2. To create a book of poems that will enrich the experience of the Gardens— especially as Brisbane welcomes the Olympic Games.
3. To nurture a community that celebrates and protects the Gardens through words.

We meet fortnightly on Wednesday mornings, 10 am-12 noon, at the Botanical Gardens Café. Next meeting Wednesday 1st October 2025.

All welcome whether to write, listen, or simply enjoy a coffee and a chat.
